Todd Gruber is a good friend of mine and an accomplished outdoorsman. Todd has been hunting this buck for over 2 years, recording many trail camera photos and  sightings. I remember him showing me a trail camera photo of the buck over a year ago as we enjoyed 9 holes of golf in early sept 2011.

 

 Todd finally caught up with the buck during a November 4th morning hunt he shared with good friend Ron Swiggam during 2012 archery season. Todd held his composure and made a fantastic shot to bring the buck down quickly.

 

 I scored this buck for Todd at 191 3/8 Gross back in November 2012. Most recently he had the buck officially scored at 193 Gross P&Y as a typical.
